I interned for two years as an unpaid mental health counselor. they charged $125/session for my services of which I never saw a cent. I was paid with extremely valuable experiences and supervision. the fashion industry is mean, cutthroat, and vicious. do they expect it to be any different for an intern? even as a paid individual in this system, you’re still going to be treated like shit.
