This is a pretty solid plan by Fox News. Get their token liberal to say terrible things, it’s representative of the entire party. It’s exactly the same as having sitting congressmen and people running for office saying terrible things.

Because otherwise the United States would have defaulted on its debts, causing even more massive problems at that time. So the plan was, we will deal with this within the next couple of years, but this emergency must be fixed right now, and the only way Republicans will deal is if they get what they want. What they wanted was automatic spending cuts with no tax increases. That was the sequester. Because of all this, for the first time, the United States of America had its credit downgraded. All because a bunch of Tea Party folks with no idea how the economy works decided ideology was more important than the people they represent. So, yes, it is Obama’s fault, for thinking he could ever trust the fanatical right to compromise on anything.

I don’t know if the people bashing Simpsons have actually watched the short, but it’s really good. The movie they put out was also good. Reminded me of the older stuff Unfortunately, the actual show has been awful for a long while now.

We’d hate it if the man with one of the most stressful jobs in the world were able to relieve that stress in any way.

What if you like Obama for things like the Affordable Care Act, ending Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, and promoting Immigration Reform while disliking him for things like drones and Guantanamo? I’ll protest his use of drones but I’m still going to vote for him over the guy who would still use drones but also deny people their right to marriage and also somehow give more money to the top 1%. Until there’s no longer a two party system, you have to vote for who most represents your views. Unfortunately, that’s a pipe dream in modern America so you have to work with what you have. I can still dream of my Socialist Utopia though.
