Kate Winslet won the BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Steve Jobs on Sunday night.
And it seems that her goal for the evening was to promote girl power.
When she accepted her award, she had this to say about her peers.
And when she spoke to press in the winner's room, she had an amazing message for young women everywhere.
She told a story about being told to settle for "fat girl parts" by a drama teacher when she was a teenager.
"When I was younger, when I was 14, I was told by a drama teacher that I might do OK if I was happy to settle for the fat girl parts," she said.
"So what I always feel in these moments is that any young woman who has ever been put down by a teacher, by a friend, by even parents, just don't listen to any of it, because that's what I did. I kept on going and I overcame my fears and got over my insecurities."
She went on to dedicate her award to young women.
