I am a Waldorf College graduate with a B.A. in History. I recently lost my job and that sucks. I am grateful for the support of my wonderful husband, incredible family and cuddly kitties. I am a huge Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and Craig Ferguson fan. I have over three years of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on tape. I can quote the Music Man pretty much from start to finish...as can the majority of Mason Cityzians.

His niece was my geometry teacher. She is also a sweet, supportive, inspiring individual. Those traits seem to run through the whole family. I enjoyed watching Bob Ross as a kid and I appreciate him even more now.

I guess that's the trade-off. You get health care and the comfort of knowing no matter what, you'll always be able to afford medical attention...we get year old clips from The Daily Show. I love Jon Stewart...but I love health care, too! Why make us choose, America? Why?
