Internet buzz says that a diehard Price Is Right fan was in the crowd, feeding unusually well-informed prices to the contestants. (Well, more informed than the usual yelling idiots in the show’s crowd, anyway.) And that’s why Drew was pissed.

Actually it is not the fact that he won both showcases (contestants must bid within $1000 of their own showcase to win both showcases, which happens more frequently then you would think), it was the fact that he bid the exact amount which was unique and had not happened since the early 70's

Behind-the-scenes intrigue: “A TMZ spy who happened to be in the audience during the taping says when Drew knew the guy hit the exact number, he stopped down taping and had a pow-wow with show producers for nearly 30 minutes. Our spy thinks they were trying to figure out how to handle the situation on camera. Unfortunately, when they resumed taping, Drew's reaction was a little less than spectacular — while the crowd went insane.”

Could Drew Carey be any less excited?

I thought you just had to be within a hundred dollars to win both.
