I’m an artsy person by nature, so I have myself a ‘happy book’. It’s literally a little book that I put pictures in that make me happy. When things suck, I pull it out. Silly movies and coloring books also help too. Anything to shut my mind up (when anxiety hits) or to find that zen place (when depression comes over). Having these really suck, there’s no way around that fact, but there are a lot of people out there that are your soul siblings and can understand the depth of your emotions. We’re not easy to spot, and we’re usually really quiet, but we’re here. And we’re here for each other.
