Promising reviews: "Our 5-month-old pup LOVES her flirt stick! It is a great way to entertain but most importantly, tire her!" —CYD

"My puppy finds this very entertaining. He’s a big chewer and the toy seems to hold up well. They even give you a second one you can clip on the rod once your dog tears through the first one. We are still using the first one and it’s been months. That being said every dog is different. If your dog is the type that shreds all soft dog toys in a few minutes then this is not a toy for you. Also it’s meant to be used with you and your dog. If allowed, my dog would start chewing on the rod part which is sturdy too but I think if he was chewing that for a while it would not hold up, but it’s not designed for that." —SB
