1. He is hilarious

Ok, I don't admit this too often, but here it is: John is funny. In fact, John is the funniest person I know. He makes me laugh everyday. He makes me laugh until my stomach hurts. He makes me laugh even when I don't want to and he helps me laugh at myself.

2. His insatiable sweet tooth

What more can a girl who loves to bake ask for? He's always there to taste test (even when it's still steaming hot) and lick the bowl (salmonella be damned).

3. His friends

Marrying John meant marrying into a whole gaggle of stone-cold weirdos. And that's just fine with me. What better testament to how wonderful John is (and has always been) than the fact that he's had the same friends since he was...well my height? :)

4. His kindness

No..thank YOU, John. Cliche as it is, John is just a nice guy. He wants to help, to support, to encourage, to soothe, to entertain, and most importantly, to high five! Anyone who knows him, knows this, but I think we forget how important that quality is sometimes.

5. His singing voice

and it must be stated: He is a straight up bad ass free style rapper also.

6. He is a nerd

Ok, this may not SEEM like a good thing, but you only think that if you've never known and loved a nerd. Nerds are passionate and faithful. They love to talk and analyze. If the man can dedicate so much of his life to loving a Wookie, just imagine how he treats his lady. Damn right!

7. His love of Christmas

I think this partly comes from his love of his family and of tradition. Yearly, he drags this cynical half-jew, kicking and screaming, into his winter wonderland and he helps me remember things I tend to forget about giving and patience and Jimmy Stewart. Especially Jimmy Stewart.

8. He hates big fish

I mean he hates them. Completely and irrationally. When he sees this fish he'll want to punch it. If he ever goes SCUBA diving, we will be surrounded by unconscious, slack-jawed gill-breathers. I don't know why, but I love this.

9. He could make Spiderman feel safe

Well I don't know about that, but he sure makes me feel safe. When I am with John, I am home.

10. And finally...he's super hot!
