    Back To The Future's Courthouse Square Fire 1990 & 2008 GIF

    November 6th 1990 A massive fire on the backlot destroyed a fifth of the standing sets. It took 400 firefighters from 86 companies in the LA and Burbank areas along with 6 helicopters to get it under control. June 1st 2008 A huge and devastating fire destroyed a large section of backlot. At it's height over 400 firefighters were on the scene. Both times the Courthouse from "Back to the Future" was spared.
