Hi there! We're The Rice MOB, the Marching Owl Band. We aren't like your normal marching band in that we don't march, ever. Instead, we move from formation to formation in whatever fashion we happen to feel like at the time. We play classic rock and contemporary pop music, and we write our own shows. We perform non-sequitur comedies, lampoon current events, and spoof literary classics. In short, we're equal opportunity satirists. We welcome all instruments, both traditional and otherwise - just ask our strings and electronics section. In fact, we have the best marching cello section in Division I.
