Spooky season is upon us, and that means it's the perfect time to enjoy some scary horror movies to set the mood. Unless you're a big ol' scaredy-cat like me.
But Halloween isn't Halloween without some spooks and scares, even if they're toned down a bit. So I want to know your favorite spooky horror film that even wimps can watch and sleep soundly afterward.
Like, maybe Jennifer's Body is your go-to suggestion for scary-movie nights because the comedy and campiness keep you from being scared of the demonic possession.
Perhaps Get Out and A Quiet Place are your favorite horror movies because they lean more toward "heart-racing thriller" instead of "make you paranoid all night that a creepy ghost face is going to appear in all your mirrors."
Or maybe Beetlejuice, with its PG rating and musical numbers, is the closest you can get to horror when Halloween comes around.
