Researchers Have Detected The Coronavirus In Semen, And My Cheeks Hurt From Laughing At People's Reactions

    This week, CNN and the Los Angeles Times reported that the coronavirus has been found in semen.

    Yup.

    According to Chinese researchers, the coronavirus "can persist in men's semen even after they have begun to recover."

    The study, which was conducted earlier this year at Shangqiu Municipal Hospital in Henan Province in central China, tested 38 male patients.

    The results showed that nearly 16% of the men had evidence of the coronavirus in their spunk. And although about a quarter of the patients were in the acute stage of infection, nearly 9% of them were reportedly already recovering.

    However, at this time, it is still unknown whether the virus that causes COVID-19 can be sexually transmitted, the Los Angeles Times pointed out.
