Grindr Responded To Eminem Saying He's On The Gay Dating App, And I Am Clutching My Pearls

Sorry to this man.

So you probably saw every celebrity doing the #DollyPartonChallenge, which went viral after the legendary country singer posted her own photos on Instagram this week:

Well, not one to be left out, Eminem joined in on the fun and posted his own version on Friday, tweeting, "Did I do this right?"

But it wasn't his photos everyone was talking about. It was the fact that the rapper, once again, joked about being on Grindr, a popular gay dating app:

Eminem was called out for "making Grindr jokes," considering his history of using anti-gay slurs in his lyrics:

not eminem making grindr jokes after making money off calling gay ppl f*ggots uwu https://t.co/f1Na2idaJT

"Aren't you like very homophobic?" one Twitter user asked:

@Eminem aren't u like very homophobic

Another called out the 47-year-old for "using Grindr and gay culture as a meme":

using grindr & gay culture as a meme but use “f*ggot” in a derogatory way in every other song.... chile https://t.co/KoPDLR8XHJ

Others questioned what Eminem would be doing on the app:

Sir...what are you doing on Grindr? https://t.co/TevD5L977C

It's important to note that Eminem has never publicly identified as part of the LGBTQ community. He did, however, apologize for using anti-gay slurs in 2018.

It didn't take long for Grindr to issue a response to Eminem's tweet, either. The company simply tweeted, "Who?" and yep, I'm dead. 😩

Grindr was basically like, "I hate to say it, I hope I don't sound ridiculous, I don't know who this man is."

Eminem has yet to respond to the controversy caused by his meme, but we'll update you if he does.
