In case you were wondering, Beyoncé (and her entire family) has tested negative for the coronavirus.
Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson, revealed the news on the Tamron Hall show on Friday.
“We all got tested,” Tina shared. “We’ve gotten the results back and everybody is okay, and so I hope that we can get together this Mother’s Day and have dinner together — and I can actually touch them for real.”
“It makes me sad, especially on Sundays, ‘cause that’s the day we all get together. So on Sunday mornings, I got the blues," she said about not being able to see her grandchildren.
It makes sense that Beyoncé and her family have been taking social distancing seriously. The "Halo" singer has been very vocal about the deadly impact of the coronavirus in the black community.
After partnering with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to donate $6 million in support of coronavirus relief efforts, Beyoncé's BeyGOOD Foundation recently teamed up with her mom to launch a mobile COVID-19 testing campaign.
According to the website, the campaign supplied free face masks, gloves, essential vitamins, and household supplies for participants without having to exit their vehicles.
"It is critical that we stay vigilant with social distancing, wearing a mask, and most of all getting tested. If you don't get tested then you don't know if you are a carrier of the virus," Tina said in a statement.
