This Artist Uses Banana Peels To Create Eye-Catching Art

It's pretty un-peel-lievable.

Stephan Brusche enjoys drawing, but working on regular paper doesn't exactly pique his interest. Instead, he uses banana peels.

So...why this potassium-packed fruit?

"Banana peels are actually pretty excellent to draw on with a ballpoint pen. It just flows across the banana," Brusche told BuzzFeed News.

Brusche, who lives in Rotterdam in the Netherlands, said that depending on the intricacy, drawings can take anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes to complete.

He uses a small kitchen knife to carve the peels.
