10 Kickass Comic Females Who Need A Movie

I want to see some girls flying around in the sky and kicking major butt! These are the ladies from comics who need a movie, like now.

10. Sailor Moon and the Sailor Scouts

Okay, I might kinda be cheating seeing as how Sailor Moon is a manga but it's still a comic. And yes, there has been at least two animated movies but I would like a live action movie. It would be nice if they did an American cast that knew what they were doing and didn't end up like the Dragon Ball Z movie. *shivers*

9. Catwoman from Batman

Yes, I am putting Catwoman on this list because she deserves a do over! Catwoman is one of Batman's most interesting foes because of obvious desire for Batman. Not only that but she's also a character who has gone through a lot of changes becoming more of a vigilante than a common thief. Never was she a crazy cat lady!

8. Rogue of the X-Men

Everyone loves a southern belle and if she can copy the powers of other mutants, that is just icing on the cake. Anna Paquin did a great job in the original X-men movies but with her being busy Vampire Dairies, someone else will have to take the reigns.

7. Tank Girl

Yes, she's already had a movie but let us be honest people: not only was it awful but it didn't even follow Tank Girl's story! Tank girl is rude, crude, a drinker, a fighter and if you think about it, she might also be insane. That is why we love her! That and Jamie Hewlett's art is awesome.

6. Lois Lane from Superman

Okay, she doesn't have super powers but that doesn't make her any less awesome. Lois Lane has been with Superman for years. When Superman needs someone to talk him down, it's Lois who does it. Even Batman respects her! Now that is saving something

5. Zatanna from DC Comics

Zatanna, daughter of the famous Giovanni Zatara, has been with the Justice League for years and has maintained a close realtionship with Batman. She uses her power for good, doing shows for charity and never does she once use her magic for own gain. She is beautiful, smart and her stories are always so fascinating, making magic more grown up for us big kids.

4. Vixen from the DC Comics

I didn't get introduced to Vixen until the 2004 animated series Justice Unlimited. Not only is she beyond sexy, she can copy the powers of other animals. Not only that but the world of super heroes can always use some more ladies of color.

3. Harley Quinn from Batman

Harley Quinn has been a fan favorite for years. Granted, she's had her up and downs but that doesn't change the fact that her character is dark, deep and sometimes extremely sad. Starting out as an aspiring doctor, Harleen Quinzel became a pawn of the Joker, falling in love with him and following in his foot steps. Come on, Hollywood! Harley is just asking for a movie!

2. Storm from X-Men

You cannot call yourself a comic book fan and not love Storm. Not only is Storm flawless but she was one of the first black female characters who played a supporting role in comics. Another thing is she shows people that you can kick ass but still be feminine as hell.

1. Wonder Woman of DC Comics

Come on, was anyone surprised?

Without a doubt, Wonder Woman is the most famous female super hero ever. She has been inspiring little girls and woman alike to stand up for themselves and be brave. A feminist, fashion and comic book icon, I can't think of anyone else who deserves a movie more than Diana.
