Just weeks after Channel 10 announced the Bachelor in Paradise AU series, Nine Network has confirmed they'll be running an Aussie Love Island.

If you've heard nothing about the show before, it was originally a British series, where singles find themselves on an island with the aim to find a romantic partner in the group.

The newly-formed couples will have their loyalty tested with new singles arriving on a regular basis. Viewers get to decide who stays or goes, and the winning couple have the option to split the cash prize or... not.
