Ezra Miller made headlines and history this year when he became the first out queer actor to be cast as the lead character in a major superhero feature film. Miller stole the show in the Perks Of Being A Wallflower and held his own when he starred in We Need To Talk About Kevin. It seems that there's really nothing Miller can't do.

4. Zoe Kravitz

It would be a mistake to shrug off Zoe Kravitz as just another celeb with famous parents. She fronts a cool band, Lolawolf, and is an indie film queen. She's also had roles in blockbusters like X-Men, is in the upcoming Mad Max flick, and appeared in Showtime hit Californication. She's got a few indie films set for release next year and is in the highly anticipated Insurgent.

5. Charlie Hunnam

With Sons of Anarchy kaput, Charlie Hunnam is now free to take on a few new projects. Hunnam's already working on Guy Ritchie's Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur and just finished up Guillermo del Toro's Crimson Peak. And, while we're sad that we'll no longer get to see him as Jax Teller, we're ready to see what he brings to the table next year.

6. Chadwick Boseman

It's no secret that we here at BuzzFeed are obsessed with Game of Thrones. Just about everyone on the show is poised to do some cool things, but Gwendoline Christie is one of the two cast members we're watching. We root for her as Brienne of Tarth and next year we'll root for her as Commander Lyme in The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay - Part 2 and in Star Wars: Episode VII -The Force Awakens.

8. Carmen Ejogo

Carmen Ejogo has been cast as Coretta Scott King twice, the most recent being in the critically acclaimed Selma. Although she's been acting for a while and has a resumé of steady gigs, it seems that recently she's hit her stride with a number of supporting roles that have her starring alongside familiar faces. And while she only has one film scheduled for release in 2015, we're still hoping to see more of her.

9. Tom Hiddleston

If you thought Tom Hiddleston was everywhere this year, then get ready for 2015. He became everyone's obsession and fan favorite as Loki, the deceptive adopted brother of Thor, and killed it alongside Tilda Swinton in Jim Jarmusch's Only Lovers Left Alive. Now he's set to play Hank Williams in next year's film I Saw The Light and will appear in movies with two members of this list, Charlie Hunnam and Luke Evans.

10. Gal Gadot

Gal Gadot is pretty much the envy of every woman in Hollywood now that she's locked down the role of Wonder Woman. But while we wait to see her as the amazing Amazon princess (her first appearance will be in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice), we can catch her in Criminal and Triple Nine, slated for summer and fall releases.

11. Jillian Bell

Here's to Jillian Bell getting the recognition she deserves in 2015. The funny lady basically stole every scene she had in 22 Jump Street, had us dying in Idiotsitter, and plays Workaholics' Jillian Belk perfectly. We're looking forward to seeing her in Goosebumps and checking out her role in Paul Thomas Anderson's recently released Inherent Vice.

Who could forget Nicholas Hoult as chubby cheeked Marcus Brewer in About A Boy? Or Skins' Tony Stonem? Critics and fans have watched Hoult become one of Hollywood's bright young things. The hype around him is deserved, but we're hoping that next year the buzz will lead to a leading role that really puts him on the map.

13. Brenton Thwaites

In his short career Brenton Thwaites has managed to snag roles alongside the likes of Meryl Streep, Jeff Bridges, and Angelina Jolie. Now we can include Johnny Depp on that list as Thwaites prepares for his role in the next Pirates of the Caribbean film. And, while we wait for that to be released (2017!) Thwaites will undoubtedly still be someone to keep an eye out for in 2015.

14. Naomie Harris

Naomie Harris has a slew of fantastic films on her resumé, a BAFTA nomination, and was last year's Woman of The Year Award winner at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards. Do yourself a favor, chill at home tonight and watch Attack the Block and Imperial Dreams. John Boyega's acting in these films is amazing and is surely what solidified his place in Hollywood as a promising young actor. And we aren't the only ones who noticed. J. J. Abrams cast the actor in his Star Wars reboot.

16. Gugu Mbatha-Raw

This year Gugu Mbatha-Raw received a British Independent Film Award for her role in Belle and tons of praise from critics. She's slated to have a supporting role in an untiled NFL drama starring Will Smith and Alec Baldwin as well as playing Famulus in Jupiter Ascending. Hopefully, she'll get a little more attention in 2015.

Jamie Bell is the rare successful child actor, one who's managed to avoid tabloid stories of drug addiction and rehab. He's worked with awesome directors, been cast as Ben Grimm in The Fantastic Four, and stars in AMC's highly praised Turn. Things are looking good for Bell.

18. Tom Hardy

Eddie Redmayne had a pretty big year in 2012 with his break out role in Les Misérables as Marius. But this year he definitely cemented his place as a leading man in The Theory of Everything as Stephen Hawking, which earned him a Golden Globe nomination. Expect him to be riding a ton of buzz into 2015 as he tackles a few more films.

20. Jake Johnson

Jake Johnson perfectly plays the New Girl's resident grumpy roommate, Nick Miller. He's used his comedic skills in a number of films including this year's Let's Be Cops and The Lego Movie. He'll once again work with Chris Pratt in the upcoming Jurassic World and we'll see him alongside Brie Larson and Anna Kendrick in Digging For Fire.

21. Damon Wayans Jr.

Damon Wayans Jr. has done a great job of creating a career that's all his own. He starred alongside New Girl cast member Jake Johnson in the buddy cop film, Let's Be Cops, and did a great job as Brad William in ABC's Happy Endings. At the moment he doesn't have any films lined up for 2015, but he recently performed a stand-up set in Tampa with his father. We're hopeful he'll continue to make us laugh next year.

22. Aubrey Plaza

The last season of Parks and Recreation is upon us and while we are still struggling to accept this, we are excited to see what happens to the cast afterward and we're keeping a close eye on Aubrey Plaza. Her character, April Ludgate, is a fan favorite and Plaza has already appeared in a number of great movies, but with the show wrapped up we'll see her spread her wings a little more in the new year.

23. Emilia Clarke

As the mother of dragons is there anything you can't do? Emilia Clarke has been killing it on Game of Thrones as Daenerys Targaryen, but next year she'll own theaters as Sarah Conner in Terminator Genisys. And, of course, she'll be getting one step closer to taking back the Iron Throne.
