Kylie Jenner Seemingly Parked In An Accessible Spot And Then Posted It On Instagram

"I hope you got a ticket."

Kylie Jenner posted an Instagram yesterday of herself and her boyfriend Travis Scott — but something in the background of the image has many people upset.

Here's the photo Kylie Jenner posted, inside a parking garage:

And in the background, behind Kylie's car, you can see a sign noting an accessible parking spot:

Commenters immediately started calling Kylie out for seemingly parking in a spot meant for people with disabilities.

They called the behavior "selfish" and "inconsiderate."

Some pointed out the irony of Kylie captioning the photo "partners in crime," considering the circumstances.

And many of the comments came from people who rely on accessible parking in their everyday lives.

After all, accessible spots are very limited — there's a reason not just anyone can park in them.

And advocates for people with disabilities have been speaking out against the photo too.

“Accessible parking is meant for people with disabilities who need it,” the president of the Ruderman Family Foundation, Jay Ruderman, wrote in a statement to People magazine.

“As a role model to many, this is an opportunity for Kylie Jenner to use her celebrity status to help society understand why accessible parking is a basic right for people with disabilities to be included in daily life," he concluded.

This is not the first time disability advocates have spoken out against Kylie Jenner. In 2015, she created a major controversy when she posed in a wheelchair on the cover of Interview magazine. At the time, she said she did it to represent how she felt "limited" by fame.

Kylie did not apologize for the images, although Interview magazine released a statement saying that their "intention was certainly not to offend anyone."

As for this latest parking controversy, Kylie has yet to address the commenters or remove the photo.
