So, in case you missed it, things got ~pretty disgusting~ on The Late Late Show With James Corden this week when Gordon Ramsay stopped by and was forced to eat a literal fish eyeball — and he could barely get it down.
Corden began the segment by asking the chef if he remembered what happened seven years ago when he was a guest on Ramsay's The F Word. Unfortunately for Gordon, he did not remember.
It turns out that Gordon Ramsay had forced a young James Corden to eat — you can probs see where this is going — a fish eyeball.
He even made James scoop the eye out of the dead fish himself. It was........surprisingly gooey.
And James did not enjoy it.
Now, James claims he did it because Gordon promised him and his family a free dinner at one of his restaurants. But here's the problem: HE NEVER GOT THAT DINNER.
James then revealed that his parents were sitting in the audience, ready to confront Gordon about the meal they are rightfully owed.
But James offered Gordon an opportunity to make things right.
And for a guy who has eaten some pretty nasty meals, Gordon is surprisingly bad at getting the eyeball down.
MORAL OF THE STORY: DON'T MAKE PROMISES YOU CAN'T KEEP, GORDON.
