Amanda Bynes Apologized For Her Past Tweets And Said She Was "So Drugged Out" When She Wrote Them

"I was feeling so ugly at the time."

Amanda Bynes just posted a video on Instagram with her new fiancé Paul Michael — and in it, she opened up about being "drugged out" in the past, apologized to anyone she hurt at the time, and revealed that she's one year sober now.

"Hey everyone, this is Paul, my fiancé," she said in the video. "I'm so lucky. As you can see, he's drop-dead gorgeous. He's also the best person on the face of the earth."

"I just wanted to post a video to say I'm sorry to everyone whom I called ugly on Twitter," she continued.

In case you forgot, Amanda was an avid Twitter user at the height of her drug use — and said some deeply offensive things about other celebrities, including Rihanna and Chrissy Teigen.

"I was feeling so ugly at the time," Amanda explained. "And it was really hard for me to express myself at the time because I was so drugged out."

"And now I've remained sober for over a year — same with Paul — and I just want to let you know that I love you guys and I'm so happy now."

"I feel like I got what's mine," she concluded. "And that is Paul."
