16 Struggles Every Australian TV Watcher Can Relate To

    SPOILERS EVERYWHERE AVOID THE INTERNET.

    1. Going on Twitter and seeing a major spoiler that everyone is talking about, ruining the episode for you.

    2. Going on Tumblr and seeing GIF sets from the latest episode, before it airs.

    3. Trying desperately to avoid spoilers by blocking the usual hashtags, and then having a spoiler pop up under a new, different hashtag.

    4. Never being able to live-tweet your favourite shows, ever.

    5. Or "live" tweeting them... nine hours after they air in America.

    6. Trying to sneakily watch TV live at your desk because prime time in the USA is around midday in Australia.

    7. Feeling excluded from fandoms because whenever big news hits, you're either at work or asleep.

    8. Joining in on conversations about the latest episode long after the rest of the fandom has moved on and gone to bed like:

    9. Having to wait weeks to see your shows on free-to-air...

    10. ... paying a huge amount to get it hours after it airs in the States...

    11. Or having to resort to... the grey areas of the internet... to see your fave shows.

    12. Trying for hours to find a live stream of your favourite show.

    13. Finding a live stream and having it lag, cut out and be in 144p.

    14. Having all the good shows only air on pay-TV.

    15. ...so if you don't have Foxtel, you can miss out on shows all together.

    16. And finally, every Christmas episode actually airs in March.
