Someone's Spotted A CROCODILE In Bristol... Again!

Remember that apparent sighting of a crocodile in Bristol in February? Someone thinks they've spotted it again - and they've taken a pretty convincing picture.

Tamara Blanco snapped this picture of what she believes is a crocodile in the River Avon, near Bristol.

She spotted the terrifying thing while out jogging along the riverbank, and says it was “moving in the water.” She told the Bristol Post:

“I was running close to the Suspension Bridge and suddenly I saw something in the water. I didn’t really see it properly because I was scared.

“I could feel my hair start to stand on end and I thought ‘Oh my God, is it a crocodile?’ and I just left the place.

“I had heard about a crocodile but that was a long time ago, so when I went home I checked on the internet and I saw that other people had seen it too.

“I felt scared at the time because the thing – whatever it was – was moving in the water.

“I wanted to stay to see it properly but there was no one around and I just didn’t feel comfortable.”

In February, a local bus driver reported seeing a croc in the same river when his bus route ran alongside the river.

The sighting was backed up by a Bristol mother-of-three who said she also spotted a crocodile in the river the next day.

Their story made it to national news reports and drove the media into a frenzy - two spoof twitter accounts for the ‘Bristol Crocodile’ popped up within hours.
