Gretchen Wieners And Karen Smith Want You To Help Those Affected By The Las Vegas Shooting

"We might not make fetch happen, but we can make this happen."

ICYMI, today is a revered national holiday: Mean Girls Day.

And in honor of the special occasion, members of the cast have come together to do some good, by raising money for the victims of the shooting in Las Vegas.

The fundraiser promo features Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, Jonathan Bennett, and Daniel Franzese, who played Karen Smith, Gretchen Wieners, Aaron Samuels, and Damian Leigh, respectively.

In it, they ask that their fans — in honor of Oct. 3 — donate just $3 each to help them reach their ultimate goal of $300,000.

All of the money raised will be donated to the National Compassion Fund, which has previously helped victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting, as well as the shooting in Aurora.

A GoFundMe page was created yesterday to collect donations, and nearly $10,000 has been raised so far.

You can go to the Mean Girls for Las Vegas GoFundMe page to support the victims and their families, and to learn more about the National Compassion Fund and other ways you can help.
