Chris Evans Dragged Kanye West To Smithereens Over His MAGA Tweet

"There’s nothing more maddening than debating someone who doesn’t know history."

This is Chris Evans. He's Captain America and Captain of my Heart.

This is Kanye West. He's umm...a lot?

He was on Saturday Night Live this weekend.

At the end of the show, Kanye (or YE or whatever the heck he's calling himself now) gave a pro-Trump rant. There was silence. And boos.

Chris Rock’s Instagram story captured Kanye West going on a rant about Trump after “SNL” last night. Cheering and boos can be heard from the audience. https://t.co/aXmG9JirrM

And from the comfort of his private jet on Sunday, Kanye also tweeted this photo of himself wearing a MAGA hat, saying, "This represents good and America becoming whole again."

this represents good and America becoming whole again. We will no longer outsource to other countries. We build factories here in America and create jobs. We will provide jobs for all who are free from prisons as we abolish the 13th amendment. Message sent with love https://t.co/a15WqI8zgu

Well you know who did not like that? Christopher Robert Evans. He replied:

There’s nothing more maddening than debating someone who doesn’t know history, doesn’t read books, and frames their myopia as virtue. The level of unapologetic conjecture I’ve encountered lately isn’t just frustrating, it’s retrogressive, unprecedented and absolutely terrifying. https://t.co/4jCFwB4T5U

And people are really into his response:

@ChrisEvans CAN YOU BELIEVE CHRIS EVANS JUST ENDED KANYE’S CAREER

@ChrisEvans Just when I thought I couldn't find you any more attractive....here we are.

But this should come as no surprise to Chris fans. In the past, he's spoken against people like David Duke, a white nationalist and former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan.

If David Duke....DAVID!...DUKE!... thinks you're right, then you are unequivocally wrong. The confirmation of @jeffsessions is beyond words. https://t.co/CuLUznwO6S

He takes his Captain America title very, very seriously.
