I have seen quite a few of these and now I have some new ones to check out.
I will never forget the Usual Suspects-I was 18 and had mostly watched rom coms and crap like that up to that point. Don’t remember why I picked this one up, but when it got to the end-I was just blown away. I watched again the next day just to see what I missed.
Matrix was the same—went into the theater not sure what to expect and walked out wanting to go back and watch it all over again.
Predestination disturbed me-I did think about it a lot, but not in a good way. One I would like to add-Saw. I watched that with my sister and when we got the to end, we sat there and stared at each other for like 10 seconds, then rewound it and watched the last 10 minutes again.
I was looking for someone else who bawled like a baby at the end of that movie……
That was horrible-Spike’s face killed me….Joyce’s death was terrible as well. The 2 additional scenes that always kill me in Buffy was when she killed Angel-God, I was broken hearted. Her whole life was in pieces and then boom, she gets Angel back and kills him. I also cried at the end of the season 6 (?) when Dark Willow is trying to raise that temple and Xander goes to her and starts talking about the damn crayon. Tears every time.
Response to How Many Iconic ’80s Films Have You Seen?:
Oh, there are so good ones missed-people listed Mannequin, the Abyss and Howard the Duck, what about Flight of the Navigator?
Can anybody tell me who that is in picture 23?
