1. Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum teaches your skin what ~real~ hydration feels like, and its lightweight, gel-like formula absorbs super quickly once you pat, pat, pat it in.

Inga Lam / BuzzFeed

I’m no expert when it comes to beauty products, but I’m really into skincare. Almost borderline obsessed, if I’m being honest. Having a regular skincare routine is essential but what products you use matter too. If there’s one skincare product that I swear by, it’s Innisfree’s Intensive Hydrating Serum with Green Tea Seed.

It’s lightweight, with a soft liquid gel-like consistency that absorbs right into the skin with a clean finish, leaving it silky smooth. It’s like my skin didn’t know what staying hydrated meant until I found this gem. Did I mention it smells amazing too? The faint whiff of green tea is very pleasant and oddly calming. Ooh, and the cute recyclable bottle comes with a super easy-to-use pump dispenser that works like a charm. For the best effect, apply the serum morning and evening, after toning your skin, then finish off with a moisturizer. Et voila! Hello, soft, dewy, glowing skin. —Inga Lam

Get it from Amazon for $24.30, Innisfree for $25, or Jet for $25.29.

2. Neutrogena Nourishing Long Wear Liquid Makeup Foundation rings in at ~$10 a pop, so you can mix shades for your perfect match without breaking the bank, and it plays nice with sensitive, eczema-prone skin all day long — nonirritating, nondrying, and nonoily.

Sarah MacMillan / BuzzFeed

I don't remember when I started using Neutrogena's Long Wear Foundation, but over the years I've tried a lot of different brands, only to throw out barely used bottles of super-expensive boutiquey makeup that just felt uncomfortable on my face. I have eczema (read: patchy redness and dry, sensitive skin), so when I find something that works, I'm like, thank freaking god.

For being a long-wear liquid makeup, this stuff feels pretty light. It's nonirritating and doesn't feel dry (or oily, for that matter). Lucky for me, this is drugstore stuff that doesn't break the bank, so if I tan in the summer, buying more shades or mixing a few different ones is no problemo. It also has SPF 20, hides redness really well, and per the name, actually does last all day. Which is great, because I'm too lazy for touch-ups. :) —Sarah MacMillan

Get it from Amazon for $8.89+ and Walmart for $13.97 (seven shades).

3. Gold & Snail Hydrogel Eye Patches helps get rid of pesky puffiness and discoloration that seem to have taken up permanent residence on your face, no matter how many ZZZs you've caught!

Bek O'Connell / BuzzFeed

No matter how much sleep I get, it seems like I can never get rid of the puffy, purple circles under my eyes. I've tried creams, gels, even putting cold spoons under my eyes. I almost gave up hope until I found these jelly-like eye patches. These shimmery commas do serious work.

Each container comes with 60 patches. They're made with snail extract, which is known to help with blemishes and hyperpigmentation, so yes! It helps with those dark circles. It's also moisturizing and can be used on other parts of your face to combat acne scars or smile lines. You can even put it in the fridge to help with puffiness. Despite being made out of snail goo, it smells pretty good. Plus, the gold makes the whole experience pretty luxurious. —Bek O'Connell

Get a container of 60 from Amazon for $10.48.

4. One N Only Argan Oil Color Conditioner in Ash-Violet makes achieving the perfect soft and tousled lavender 'do as easy as applying and rinsing off some purple goo — no more lightning-fast color drainage!

Francine Hendrickson / BuzzFeed, Devric Butoh / BuzzFeed

I got my hair dyed purple exactly two months ago, and I was determined to make the expensive hair makeover last. My stylist dyed my hair a few shades brighter and darker than the lavender color I was going for, knowing it would soon fade to the desired shade. So the first few times I washed my hair, I just used basic color-safe shampoo and conditioner, and didn't worry about the amount of dye that came out. But once I had the lighter purple I wanted, I looked into products that would preserve the color better. My stylist recommended Overtone but the beauty store I went to didn't carry it, so I went with a re-depositing Ash Violet conditioner by One N Only Argan Oil.

It promised to add color back into my hair and it immediately made a huge difference in terms of color being stripped out. This conditioner made me stop dreading and delaying washing my gross, greasy hair. My hair looked pretty much the same pre- and post-wash, just a tiny bit lighter each time. The change in color is so slight and I look forward to seeing the new shade once a week; it also adds some purple back into the silver parts of my hair (if I leave it in for at least 20 minutes)! Even my partner noticed, commenting, "Whose hair is this? It's so soft!" after my last wash.

I can't wait to get a re-dye done now, knowing I can make the color last a full two months and I don't have to live as a greasy grease monster. If you have purple hair, definitely give the Ash Violet conditioner a try. They also make this conditioner for other colors. Also, be sure to wash your hair in cold water! Makes a big difference. —Francine Hendrickson

Get it from Walmart for $9.72 or Amazon for $8.23+ (five colors).

5. R+Co Rockaway Salt Spray is the answer to your hair-doesn't-hold-a-curl woes and gives it the desired just-got-back-from-the-beach texture it needs without residue or weird scents.

Jessie Gaynor / BuzzFeed

According to my last hairstylist, I have what's known (by her, anyway) as "slippery hair." It just doesn't hold texture well, which is a source of sadness in my life, because I've always envied people with big, beautiful, curly heads of hair. The stylist who diagnosed my slippery hair also gave me what she swore was the best remedy: R+Co Rockaway Salt Spray. Okay, I know I'm kind of a sucker. But in my defense, she tried it out on me first so I could see how well it worked! And it really does work.

I'll never have the big hair of my dreams, but this stuff gives me some much-needed texture. It roughs up my hair a little and gives it some of that enviable beachiness women's magazines love. And also bedhead? But somehow still soft! Before I started using it, I relied on dry shampoo for texture, but it tended to make my hair a little powdery and had a chemical smell. This spray, on the other hand, smells amazing — think citrus and green tea — which is why I don't mind when my boyfriend steals it (he wants beachy hair too!). The spray is also paraben-, gluten-, sulfate-, and cruelty-free. Oh, and the bottle is super cute! Win/win/win/win! —Jessie Gaynor

Get it from Jet for $25 or Amazon for $26.

6. ColourPop Crème Gel Liners (in Mr. Bing and Best O) marry creaminess, non-smudginess, and blend-ability into one incredibly easy-to-use formula — and they're hella cheap, so follow your heart and try out as many colors as you want!

Nichole Francois / BuzzFeed

I cannot rave enough about my love for ColourPop – fantastic prices AND quality? Sign me up! One of my favorite ColourPop products is their Crème Gel Liner, which is only FIVE DOLLARS. That’s cheaper than a lot of drugstore brands nowadays. These liners are ColourPop’s gel formula in a pencil form, so they’re super creamy and easy to blend. They go on so easily and they don’t take much effort to apply. The liners also are easy to work into your waterline. Bonus? They don’t seem to smudge on the top of your eyelid because they dry matte very quickly.

They’re a bit difficult to use to create the perfect wing, but you can always smudge out the ends with a angled brush. I usually end up not completely winging out my liner, anyway. However, I have had some issues with breaking these pencils since they are so creamy. Just make sure you don’t over-advance the pencil!

I'm wearing Mr. Bing, a color created by Kathleen Lights. Mr. Bing is a warm-brown color, which is very different than the normal gel or pencil eyeliners I wear. I honestly love how it pops against my blue eyes! Another color I love is Best O, a deep burgundy color that's perfect for everyday wear – or when you want your eyes to pop, but don’t want it to be as dark as black liner. —Nichole Francois

Get both from ColourPop for $5: Mr. Bing here and Best O here.

7. Urban Decay Heavy Metals Metallic Eyeshadow Palette serves up vibrant colors galore, as in 20 totally ~new and exclusive~ to the brand — just another reason everyone else won't be able to get on your makeup game level — packaged in a gorgeous, slide-out, and mirror-included case!! 💁

@urbandecaycosmetics / Via instagram.com, Ignacia Fulcher / BuzzFeed

Let me start out by saying I absolutely LOVE Urban Decay and everything they want to be, and thanks to them and this new palette, I think I'm starting to become a low-key (high-key) eyeshadow junkie. BuzzFeed's holiday party was last month and I decided I wanted a dope eye color to complete my cranberry blazer ~lewk~. Oh my goodness, it's so pretty? The case it comes in is purple, heavy, and Urban Decay did everything that basically screamed extra AF when it comes to packaging.

There are 20 amazing glittery, metallic colors that my hooded eyes and I try to stay away from, but I thought "why not get festive?!" I kind of improvised a smokey eye with a shade of "Afterparty" red and a couple of beiges I spotted. Applying the color to my lids was like spreading butter and the blend was godly AF, so much so that at the end of it all, I felt as fabulous as the end of a Patrick Starr YouTube vid. That's how great it was, y'all. So for everyone who is on the fence about getting ANOTHER Urban palette, it's absolutely worth the coin, so invest and be merry, babies! —Ignacia Fulcher

bit.ly

Traveling with perfume can be a real pain in the ass. In fact, I have literally had an entire bottle of very expensive perfume shatter in my luggage, despite it being wrapped in bubble wrap and packaged in the box it came in! So in my opinion, it doesn’t really seem like those extra precautions are worth it — which is why, when I discovered this miracle product, I was blown away.

Jo Malone, a scent guru, has an amazing line called Jo Loves — and the line includes a range of "paint-on" perfumes. Yes, you read that correctly: perfume that you paint on.
