19 Times "Never Have I Ever" Season 4 Made Me Actually Scream Out Loud

    I binged the entire season in a day, and now that I've had time to digest, I HAVE SOME THINGS TO SAY. **SPOILERS AHEAD**

    1. The confirmation that Ben and Devi DID used that "free boink" after all...and that it sucked.

    OK TECHNICALLY, this was confirmed when the trailer came out, but it still counts. As a Benvi (Ben and Devi) shipper from the start, this was much appreciated. Except that it was terrible and awkward and they hated it.

    3. Literally the entire Margot/Ben/Devi storyline.

    I don't know if this is unpopular or not, but I did noooooot like Margot. She was just there to cause problems and wasn't fleshed out enough for me to care about her when Devi was mean.

    4. Devi nearly killing Dr. Keys with her yelling to Margot about sleeping with Ben.

    Did you really have to specify that it was circumcised, Devi???

    5. Dr. Ryan, Devi's psychologist.

    Dr. Ryan saying "Devi, you feel a lot. Which means sometimes you're gonna hurt a lot. But it also means that you're gonna to live a life that is emotionally rich and really beautiful.

    One of the funniest characters, imo. Everything she says has me screaming out loud with LAUGHTER, but she also has some really, really great advice for Devi (and all of us) too. She's the only character who can go head-to-head with Devi (besides Ben, of course) and that requires STRENGTH. Plus, who doesn't love Niecy Nash?

    6. Devi still helping Ben at the college fair, even while he was ignoring her.

    But like...there's no way that was ACTUALLY the same shirt, right? Devi wore it so much better.

    7. Michael Cimino as Ethan — the bad boy and the "Stupid B*tch" graffiti.

    Everything he did had me screaming. The car, kissing both Eleanor AND Devi in one night, robbing the college fair rep??? So many red flags, but that smile...

    8. Ben's "Saw this and thought of you" text.

    Even if it was a strange article, he was thinking about her!! And there's just a little bit of teasing which is just so...THEM.

    9. The way there were two chaperones for a cross-country college visit of about 20 students?

    And they let students break off on their own. Then there are the students going as far as leaving the state with no warning to their chaperones? How?! Who approved this trip?

    She deserved it, but she still should have told Devi sooner.

    11. Devi's monumental stupidity of telling her mom she got a clean sweep and then continuing to let it escalate.

    I get being so upset about the rejection that she lied to her mom, but she didn't think that she should come clean once she knew her mom told her friends?? Surely she knew Nalini wouldn't just stop there. At least it all worked out.

    12. How selfish Devi was about Fabiola and Princeton.

    Fabiola absolutely shouldn't have lied, but Devi practically made it impossible for Fab to tell her the truth!

    13. Ben's dream sequence! 😍🔥

    I don't know who I'm more jealous of in this moment.

    14. Paxton and Devi finally getting closure!

    I was so nervous watching that scene, especially when they kissed. I couldn't handle seeing them together again, so I'm glad both of them wised up and got the closure they needed.

    15. Aneesa just disappearing for seemingly all of their senior year?

    She was one of the best characters, but she had no real storylines and just popped up in a few scenes. How did she not go on the New York trip? Or in the limo to Prom? She would've!! Justice for Aneesa!

    16. Ben's confession after prom!

    Netflix, you were sick for this. Ben finally sharing his feelings, and Devi is ASLEEP? We could've had a happy couple for the entire final episode, but we were robbed.

    This whole scene was STUNNING.

    18. Nalini getting her happy ending.

    Nalini was one of the best characters on the show, so it's only fitting her endgame lover was deserving of her.

    19. And finally, BEN AND DEVI ENDGAME!!!

    Truthfully, this moment did not JUST have me screaming. It had me full on scream-sobbing. I've been rooting for this since Episode 1, and all of this back and forth was seriously brutal. It was straight up cathartic to see them all cuddled up in Ben's dorm room.

    Final Thoughts

    The whole show was really great, and I'm curious what John McEnroe (and Mindy Kaling) meant by "Goodbye, for now..." What do you guys think it means? What were your favorite (or least favorite) moments of Season 4?
