Response to 17 Ways To Never Have A Bad Hair Day Again:
This is no different than what you see in every “Women’s” magazine. Just once I want to see an article either on here, or in a mainstream magazine that features anyone other than white people with white people hair. Having a couple token people of colour doesn’t cut it either. Really really lame. People with all types and textures of hair want tips too. Stop prepetuating this as the norm. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease?
Response to Why It’s So Hard To Talk About Bareback Sex:
I don’t quite understand how you can say you’re committed to staying HIV negative but then in the same breath say you have risky sex (aka sex that can lead to transmission of STIs including HIV) and will continue to do so. The choice to use protection is yours, but refusal to have the conversation with potential partners about testing status is blatantly notacommitment to staying HIV negative. In many cases, if you are inasituation to afford healthcare, HIV is notadeath sentence, thusIam in no way bashing or stigmatizing those who are positive, but this piece is contradictory. I’m not condemning, the conversations need to be had in safe spaces where individuals won’t feel judged or stigmatized because you’re not wrong in that many many many people engage in “risky” behaviour and will continue to do so…but what is your point exactly? Because this kind of read to me likeaconfession of guilt that you find socially imposed but are still seeking validation for?
