Acclaimed French Series "Call My Agent!" Is Getting A British Remake, And I Already Know It's Going To Be Incroyable

Fans of Twenty Twelve and W1A – listen up!

If you've never heard of Call My Agent!, you are SO missing out! The hilarious drama is a national favourite in its native France, and has garnered a huge global fanbase since it began streaming on Netflix a few years back.

Now, a very exciting British remake is in the works, helmed by John Morton – the writer-director behind hit UK comedy shows Broken News, Twenty Twelve, and W1A!

The French original – Dix pour cent– follows the ups and downs of ASK, a celebrity talent agency in Paris. While staying on top of their own hectic personal lives, the agents must manage demanding actors and somehow navigate the very imperfect movie and TV industry.

This series will follow the same overarching plot, but will undoubtedly incorporate John's unique British sense of humour, as well as introduce some new storylines.

British stars Kelly Macdonald, Helena Bonham Carter, and Olivia Williams have already been announced as cameos in the series, with more names to be released. Series regulars will include Jack Davenport, Maggie Steed, Lydia Leonard, and Jim Broadbent, among others.

The series is currently in production, but will premiere on Amazon Prime Video exclusively in the UK and Ireland. We don't have a release date yet, but we'll keep you updated!
