Promising review: "Do you have a lot of houseplants? Are they crowded together and hard to see where one pot begins? Or bushy plants that spread out low and wide? These will help in all of those situations. My plants are happy and my floors are dry." —k gannon

Promising review: "Really great guide to houseplants. I am an experienced outdoor vegetable gardener who has never had much success with houseplants. The only one I've ever been able to keep alive is George, my un-killable Aspidistra (Iron Plant). Thanks to this book and the more detailed, but less cute, book Practical Houseplant, I now have a little forest of air cleaning plants, succulents, retro '70s plants (rubber plant and Swiss cheese plant), and even two indoor banana trees — all healthy and happy." —Jo

Promising review: "This pack of cleaning wipes are essentially like baby wipes for plants. There is very little to no smell. There is a little bit of texture to the wipe which helps to clean water spots and such, off of the plant leaves. I had one plant that the leaves were covered in water spots. These wipes took the spots off after going over the leaves a couple of times. Sometimes it is necessary to wipe the leaves, then let them dry. This allows you to see if there is anything you need to wipe over again; some spots are harder to remove so it takes a few swipes before the leaves are completely clean. I have used these several times on a variety of different houseplants. From my experience so far, the wipes are safe and gentle on plants." —wonder_woman1

Once I started mixing a small amount of this in the water for all of my plants once a month, my plants literally EXPLODED INTO BEAUTIFUL PLANTS. I am SHOOK. MY PEPPER PLANT WENT FROM GROWING ONLY one PEPPER TO six over four months!! Super easy to use and honestly super affordable and I'll be using this forever." —Traci h

Promising review: "At first I was hesitant. How could little sticky tabs on a stick control or eradicate my fungus gnat infestation? I had tried various pesticides, but those killed my plants too. So, in desperation, I tried these. They had good reviews and people said they worked wonders. Well, add my name to that list. These things worked fantastically! I bought these on June 28 after battling fungus gnats for months, the problem was only getting worse. It is now August 9, and I can honestly say I haven't seen any gnats in my house flying around. I still keep the tabs out just in case, and occasionally I'll catch one of two, but for the most part they're gone and it's 100% due to these little tabs! And I didn't even use all 7 traps!" —Katheryn Camm

Bek, an editor here at BuzzFeed, uses this spray bottle for her plants. Here's what she had to say:
"Most of my houseplants are from more humid regions, and spraying their leaves helps them look lush and perky, even when the heat or AC is blasting. I know it's pretty weird to be passionate about a spray bottle, but I absolutely need to tell you about this mister. Just holding it in my hands makes me happy. The bottle is made with thick, dark brown glass and the sprayer is a sturdy plastic. The mist itself is evenly dispersed and covers a lot of the leaves' surface at once. Just a few quick sprays will completely douse my lovely green pals. I wish I could hold a ceremony and award this mister a Best-Made Product Ever award. My Pilea and peace lily would be in attendance and applauding with their little stems. If you love your plants, spoil them with this fantastic mister."

Promising review: "This is very easy to work with, though I did, as always, make a mess. None of the plants I repotted showed any sign of shock, which is pretty amazing to me. They didn't even get a bit droopy, and I'm like the kiss of death to houseplants. Needless to say, I'm thrilled." —Beth A

Promising review: "Have you bought new plants and someone at the nursery or on the internets tells you to water once a week or two weeks? Well, guess what, your plants don't dry out on a schedule like that all year round. It depends on its environment. How much light it's getting, how hot and humid its surrounding is, what kind of soil and pot it's in. If you're a total newbie or you're just really into plants even after a series of failures like I was, then you need this moisture meter! It will tell you exactly when your plants need water. It'll stop you from killing that seventh string of pearls, whose six predecessors you drowned because you were just born to overwater. It will help you water that fiddle-leaf fig you love even though it's so 2016 (It's OK. I have two.) I have this simple moisture meter and another one that measures light, moisture and pH. I have two just because I have plants scattered all throughout the house and I don't wanna walk up and down the steps to get one. They're both useful to have." —MJ

For best results, replace spikes every 30 days in spring and summer; replace every 60 days in winter and fall.
Promising review: "I swear by these plant food spikes!!! The package says they are for indoor plants, but I actually use them for all of my outdoor plants, especially my herbs. I first tried these after planting some basil and other herbs that seemed to be taking an eternity to grow. I figured I'd give them a try since they were so inexpensive and wow!!!!! Within just a few days, my plants had grown more than double what they had grown in the previous several weeks!! One of my friends (who also enjoys gardening) came over to my house and was in awe of how big and healthy all of my herbs were. When I told her about these spikes, she went straight from my house to purchase some and had the exact same growth results." —GatorDO17

Promising review: "Fiddle-leaf figs are my favorite plant to accidentally kill. I like to keep buying them but I can’t keep them alive... until I bought this fertilizer. These two twigs (in my pictures) seriously had one crusty leaf left each. I started using this fertilizer and they started sprouting these green baby leaves! It made me feel like I was winning at life 😆. I give it to the plants once a week. I think the price point on this product is kinda high but it’s liquid gold, like the elixir of life and I’ll keep buying it." —Mary Monaghan Chesney

Promising review: "Purchased this grow light for my avocado trees to have proper lighting through the dark and cold winters. Plants had many brown leaves and was no longer flowering. After a few days with this grow light, all plants are recovering with new flowers starting to develop. Since the lights are LED, no harm (burning) is done to the plants. Promising review: "This little watering can is perfect for around-the-house watering. Small enough that it fits into kitchen and bathroom sinks for refills, and the long spout makes it easy to reach under low-hanging leaves. It doesn't hold a ton of water, but you probably don't want to be lugging a huge watering can around the house anyway. This watering can is also extremely well-made, and even attractive. It almost seems a shame to put it away in a cabinet." —Andy Simmons
