We recently asked the BuzzFeed Community to share the TV shows they thought got canceled way too soon and they did not disappoint! Here's what they said:
1. The Society (2019)

"It was renewed for a second season and then was later canceled because of COVID! The show was amazing and left off on, like, five different cliffhangers. Also, we never got to see more of Grizz and Sam. I will always be pissed about it."
2. The Carrie Diaries (2013-2014)

"It was so promising. AnnaSophia Robb was a great young Carrie Bradshaw, and I really wanted to see more of the backstory. Plus it was a good amount of cute/funny/dramatic."
4. Me, Myself, and I (2017-2018)

"A recent CBS show with a promising plot of a blended family (a couple who get married and each has a middle school-aged son). The boys have to learn to live together and form a fast friendship. BUT the main plot is told from the perspective of one of the boys over three stages in his life: middle school student, divorced single parent, and elderly business owner. The cast was great, the vibe was so happy, and they captured each time period (including the future!) with wonderful attention to detail. So sad that it only got one season! I was devastated when they canceled it."
6. Deadman Wonderland (2011)

"Such a great horror anime with a really unique plot. I got so invested in it only to realize there was only one season and there was NO CLOSURE! It just, poof, ends."
7. Pushing Daises (2007-2009)

"It was such a unique, well-done show. To this day, it's one of my favorites. Unfortunately, it fell victim to the writer strikes and ended prematurely."
8. Emily Owens, M.D. (2012-2013)

"I loved how it showed her battling her insecurities while vying for the attention of her crush and competing with her high school rival to impress a doctor at the hospital whose work they've both admired. Mammie Gummer is amazing!"
9. Scream Queens (2015-2016)

"We only got two seasons but I thought it was hilarious!"
10. The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2019)

12. Santa Clarita Diet (2017-2019)

"That show was so funny, serious, and lighthearted. The characters were so good. Plus they ended it on an awful cliffhanger. I wish they did a wrap-up season instead of just canceling it."
13. GLOW (2017-2019)

"I will forever be salty about Glow being canceled. That show had EVERYTHING. An amazing and diverse cast, body positivity, a banging soundtrack, amazing costumes, and fantastic writing and direction. We deserved at least one more season because there are so many unresolved storylines."
14. Project Blue Book (2019-2020)

"This was an excellent sci-fi/thriller on History. The plot was fascinating and the cast was great. It received critical acclaim and History said it had their full support, but then it was abruptly canceled after Season 2."
15. Teenage Bounty Hunters (2020)

"It was a solid and enjoyable show that a lot of people identified with. It was never given a chance."
16. Twisted (2013-2014)

"It was so good and just ended on a cliffhanger after one season!! So annoying! We’ll never know who got shot!"
17. Bunheads (2012-2013)

"Hands down the best and most underrated show. It had the best writing of any show in recent memory with positive supportive female friendships, honest everyday struggles, and relatable characters that went through ups and downs. None of the characters were perfect, they all had flaws, but that was what made the show so special, you got to see them handle themselves and come to terms with what their lives were. It was smart, witty, and didn't dumb down its jokes! Honestly, I've rewatched it so many times and will choose to again and again because of how amazing it was!"
18. The Get Down (2016-2017)

"It was such a good story filled with BIPOC representation and hip hop/rap history. I hate that it ended up being canceled because they couldn’t get another director."
19. Girl Meets World (2014-2017)

"It was so cute and funny and I loved all the Boy Meets World cameos!"
20. Anne With an E (2017-2019)

"Such an amazing and beautiful show raising the incredibly important topics of feminism and racism, and depicting the LGBT+ community in those days. So relevant even right now in our world. Completely heartbroken that it got canceled."
21. Sense8 (2015-2018)

22. Famous in Love (2017-2018)

"That show had so much potential to be awesome! Plus there were so many loose ends that needed to be tied up."
23. Timeless (2016-2018)

"It was such a fantastic show that shed light on important, but not as well known, historical figures and would often highlight women and POC."
24. My So-Called Life (1994-1995)

"It touched on so many issues like child abuse, drug use, homophobia, and the general awkwardness of being a teenager, but without ever feeling like 'a very special episode' like other sitcoms did in the '90s. It wasn’t like, 'Okay, this week's episode deals with this' — those themes continued throughout the whole series."
25. Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists (2019)

"It got left on a cliffhanger and I wanted to see how the whole show turned out. It looked like it would be a bit better than Pretty Little Liars so I was excited and then found out it got canceled."
26. Terra Nova (2011)

"It was on almost a decade ago but I’m still bitter about it. The premise had so much potential, the characters were so interesting, and the first season ended on such a big cliffhanger. It was canceled after one season because it was very expensive to produce but I still miss it."
27. Popular (1999-2001)

"It’s a Ryan Murphy show from the ‘90s/‘00s. It was so fucking funny. It got renewed for a third season, they ended on a major cliffhanger, and then the network said 'PSYCH!' and canceled it. I’ll be bitter to my dying day about it. None of his comedies have ever lived up to it."
28. Higher Ground (2000)

"It had one season in 2000, but it was amazing. The acting was great, the problems were real, and the people playing teenagers weren't thirty."
29. The O.A. (2016-2019)

"I've never seen a show like it. It also ended on an absolute mind-blowing cliffhanger that I can't believe we'll never get to see resolved. But well worth the watch."
30. Agent Carter (2015-2016)

"I think this was such a strong show in the MCU and Peggy is such an incredible character! Both seasons were strong and I wish we could have seen more. I’m glad they wrapped up Peggy’s (and even Sousa’s!) story later on but still... I would love for them to come back and tell me more about Peggy’s past!"
31. Spinning Out (2020)

"It was such a great show which had a focus on mental health and race. It was a beautiful show that was canceled after one season."
32. Happy Endings (2011-2013)

"It was an amazing and funny show. Ten times better than Friends! I was so sad when it was canceled. I remember when they teased a comeback a few years ago and was so sad when nothing came of it. Still a fan of all the actors!
33. And finally, Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 (2012-2013)

"It was a fun, crass show about how friendships can change people's lives for the better. Plus it had Krysten Ritter, Eric Andre, Dreama Walker, and James Van Der Beek as James Van Der Beek. I think it was just with the wrong network at the wrong time, otherwise, we'd be on Season 11 by now!"
