Meet Era and Gaurav Gowalkar, a working couple from Pune who've been happily married for three years now.
Like any busy couple, the duo have divided their household chores between them, with Era handing off the grocery shopping duties to her husband every other week.
While things went fine when Era did the shopping herself, things weren't going as smoothly when Gaurav was in charge.
"It was almost a disaster. For me, veggies need to be perfect – if they are, they uplift my mood. Gaurav isn’t that fussy so he gets whatever he finds in the shortest amount of time, or whatever the vendor hands him," Era told BuzzFeed.
Fed up with dealing with groceries that weren't up to her standards, Era came up with a hilariously elegant solution – to hand write a shopping list for her husband, complete with detailed descriptions and diagrams.
She posted the list on Facebook and Twitter, and it immediately went viral.

"I realised that an illustrative list works out better and helps avoid arguments over the quality of vegetables bought," she added.
Her list has been shared thousands of times by people from around the world, all of whom are expressing their need for an explicit guide like this.
"We are truly floored by the response our humble shopping lists received. Part of it was first posted by my husband on LinkedIn hoping that big grocery companies use the parameters."
Owing to the sheer volume of the responses, Era even posted a follow up list that explained her requirements in some further detail.
