Rahul Yadav is the infamous 26-year-old CEO of Housing.com who's been in the headlines a lot over the past couple of weeks.
It started with him dramatically leaving the company with a public letter of resignation.
He took back the resignation just a few hours later, following which he changed his Facebook display picture to this not-so-subtle message to his haters.
Just a few days later, he announced that he would give away all his shares (worth over ₹150 crores) to his employees, and challenged other CEOs to do the same.
A lot was also written about the Zomato CEO's mocking reply on Yadav's post.
So when Yadav announced that he would participate in an AMA on Reddit India, the internet was ready with a lot of questions for him. And here's what we found out.
1.He doesn't think much of Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal's sense of humour.
2.His opinion about Zomato itself isn't very high either.
3.He thinks he raised some important issues with his "shenanigans" and thinks diplomacy gets in the way of efficient communication.
4.He admits he's not above bullshitting to woo investors and the media.
5.He's not a crorepati anymore.
6.And reports of him owning a Porsche Cayenne are false. He drives a rental.
7.He'll humour any request. Like, "post a picture with a banana for no reason."
8.Flipkart is one of the few Indian startups he respects.
9.He also likes Uber and Twitter.
10.He hasn't watched TV in the last 11 years.
11.He thinks others' perception of him matters and can be detrimental, but isn't bothered by it.
12.There was, apparently, no particular reason he nominated Deepinder Goyal and Bhavish Aggarwal to give up their shares.
13.More than anything, this AMA taught us that Rahul Yadav is REALLY confident in his company and himself.
Following the session, it soon became clear that Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal hadn't taken well to Yadav's comments in the AMA.
Not that Yadav was too bothered, because this was posted on his Facebook profile just moments later.
