Tyga Basically Took Credit For Kylie Jenner's Career And People Are Not Here For It

    "I'm good."

Ok, so you obviously know that rapper Tyga and Kylie Jenner were once an item:

Well, in an interview on Queen Radio with Nicki Minaj, Tyga opened up about his relationship with Kylie. And there was some shade thrown in.

In the interview, Nicki asked if he missed Kylie. He said, "No, I'm good. I'm good, love, enjoy."

Nicki then asked if he helped put Kylie on the map, and he said that "everybody know that," and that it's "public."

He then added this, urging people to look at the "before and after":

You gotta look at the before and after. She always had a platform, and she was always destined to be where she was going to be, regardless. But, when I stepped in, and there was a lot of codes being taught, it was like, 'You could do this. You should start this. You should start doing your hair like this, or you should do this. You should adapt because you need black people to fuck with you cause you need culture. If you ain't got black people behind you, you ain't got nothing—ain't nobody going to listen. You can't influence nobody.' So, I had a lot to do with all that.

"I don't need credit for it. I don't need to go online and tell people like, 'I did this and I'm the one who helped her come with this colors and names on her lip line.'"

"I'm not a bitter person. That's like, if we break up, we break up," he added. "We had a good time and we kept moving. You know, we went our separate ways, and we both are doing good, you know what I'm saying?"

Some people were not here for his comments:

Tyga taking credit for Kylies success is HILARIOUS. Men love to credit themselves for how women end up after dating them- bad or good. 😒

Tyga taking credit for Kylie’s (almost billion dollar) empire is just another form of inferiority when it comes to being a man. Men, stop taking credit for successful women! Period.

Not that I necessarily care about tyga or kylie but I guess tyga was trying to take credit for making kylie the success she is and that has to be one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard

tyga really taking credit for kylie’s career???? tf

What do you guys think? Did Tyga help put Kylie on the map? Yes? No? Maybe not as much as he thinks? Maybe a little?? Let me know what you think in the comments.

You can listen to audio of the interview here, btw.
