Sam Smith Opened Up About His Breakup With "13 Reasons Why" Actor Brandon Flynn

    In case you missed it, singer Sam Smith and actor Brandon Flynn started dating back in October 2017.

    Back in January, he said, "On a personal level, I’m in a relationship right now and for the first time, I think I deserve to be happy."

    Well, fast forward to June 2018 and all pictures of them together were removed from Sam's Instagram. The couple had seemingly split.

    Now, he's opened up about the breakup: "Brandon was wonderful," Sam said in an interview with The Sunday Times Style magazine.

    "I’m still trying to figure out what I took from that relationship and what it meant to me," he said. "It’s still quite raw."

    "All my relationships have ended in a nice way, never nasty," he said.

    And although Sam seemed to want to keep other details private, he did say, "Seeing gay relationships is important and refreshing," he said. Yes, it is, Sam! Thanks for sharing!
