Kim Kardashian Just Posted A Pic Of Her Face Covered In Psoriasis

    "Morning psoriasis."

Kim Kardashian has always been super open about having psoriasis, a skin condition that causes skin cells to build up and form scales and patches of dry skin.

And just last month, she had a flare-up, which she shared with her 131 million Instagram followers. Here's a picture of her legs.

Kim said she's tried everything to get rid of it:

And in December, she shared that she was considering going on medication for her psoriasis:

I think the time has come I start a medication for psoriasis. I’ve never seen it like this before and I can’t even cover it at this point. It’s taken over my body. Has anyone tried a medication for psoriasis & what kind works best? Need help ASAP!!!

Well on Sunday, she posted a photo of her face covered with psoriasis:

Kim K catches a lot of flak on a regular basis, but can we just give her credit for being open with her followers — especially knowing how much her brand relies on society's norms of beauty?

It looks like Kim's openness is already helping others:

It’s no secret that I’m no Kardashian fan, but the fact Kim Kardashian has had to pretty much defend the fact she has psoriasis flares is disgusting. The media and a chunk of society who supports treading people down should be ashamed. Psoriasis is hard enough. #SupportingKim

I honestly have a lot of respect for Kim K for being so forward/open about her psoriasis. I have struggled for months now with an intense flare up most prevalent on my face & there have been days that I have felt embarrassed & even ashamed to leave the house.

Thank you @KimKardashian for your openness on dealing with psoriasis. It’s not something that you can just cover up with makeup & move on.

Thank you to Kim Kardashian for finally giving me the strength to admit to the world that I, too, suffer the horrible ailment of psoriasis. I expect Kourtney to bring me buckets of breast milk as consolation for my bravery in the (blotchy) face of battle

So thank you, Kim, for your openness. <3
