Finally, Justin Timberlake Revealed Why He Said "Bye Bye Bye" To NSYNC

♫ So, now it's time to leave and make it alone. ♫

Fifteen years ago, the record-breaking "Bye Bye Bye"–singing boy band NSYNC announced a "hiatus." As a result, the world was literally set on fucking fire.

Since then, Justin Timberlake hasn't really addressed the break, except on OWN in 2014.

But in his recent Hollywood Reporter profile, Timberlake finally revealed a more specific reason for the split, and it definitely didn't seem like it was tearing up his heart.

"I was growing out of it," he said. "I felt like I cared more about the music than some of the other people in the group. And I felt like I had other music I wanted to make and that I needed to follow my heart."

    Cared more? Other music? Justin?

A lot of people were like, REALLY??

Some people are calling him petty for talking about the split 15 years later.

    Some had receipts.

    Others were like, WHO CARES?

Maybe in 15 more years, he'll reveal which member(s) he was talking about!
