I Love How Carrie Underwood Responded To Someone Who Dissed Her New Song

    Carrie snapped.

If you watch football or love Carrie Underwood, you know that every year, she makes a song for the NFL that plays before games.

This year, her song is called "Game On."

I heard it the other day when I watched football for 30 seconds and thought it was good??????

But according this person — who's a producer and showrunner at Sports Illustrated's — people haven't been liking it.

And I checked on Twitter. There definitely are some negative tweets about the new song:

I sweatergoidt if I hear Carrie Underwood sing “game on!” One more fkn time

Who has the petition against this awful Carrie Underwood “Game On” song? Because it needs to be stopped. #NEvsDET

The “Game On” Carrie Underwood Sunday Night Football theme song is ear piercing

Anyway, Carrie must've seen and clapped back at her and those who don't like her music:

Hey, I know my music isn’t for everyone, but I love what I do and I love being a part of @SNFonNBC ! ❤️ I am one lucky lady! I also love women who build other women up...just saying...👍 https://t.co/F4yuNGKj0M

She then followed up with this tweet, urging people to be nice to each other.

For the record, the original tweeter saw Carrie's clapback and clarified:

And she later apologized for her tweet:

Sorry that I dissed ‘Game On’ in my tweet about Cris Collinsworth’s slides. I didn’t mean to upset Carrie or her fans, and I'm all about supporting women too. I just miss ‘Waiting all day for Sunday Night.'

I'm sure the gracious queen forgives. But...moral of the story: Don't criticize Carrie or her songs!
