Singer Adele and her husband Simon Konecki are separating, according to a statement from Adele's rep to the Associated Press.
The statement, released Friday, reads:
Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.
Obviously, fans have a lot of feelings. Many made light of the situation, saying that the album that will come from the split will be amazing:
