These Guys Thought It Was Funny To Dress Up As Bloody Asiana Flight Attendants For Halloween

Complete with “Ho Lee Fuk,” “Sum Ting Wong,” and “Wi Tu Lo” name tags.

1. According to the blog Angry Asian Man, this lovely photo was taken at the Sidetrack Video Bar in Chicago over the weekend.

2. The costumes reference Asiana Airlines Flight 214, which crashed in San Francisco earlier this year, killing three passengers. Dozens more were injured.

3. The names come from San Francisco television station KTVU-TV’s broadcast of the event, which displayed fake names. The station was later sued by Asiana Airlines.

4. Also, as SFist points out, they weren’t the only ones to think of the same costume. This one was spotted over the weekend at a resort in Lake Tahoe.
