Detroit's RoboCop Statue Is Finally Coming Together And It Is Awesome

Two years ago, Kickstarter raised $67,436 to make a statue in Detroit honoring RoboCop, the city's finest hero. The vision is finally being completed.

According to the Kickstarter's most recent update, the 10-foot-tall pixel-atom statue is almost finished.

The statue was sculpted by Frank Barton.

And it's currently heading to Venus Bronze Works for casting and manufacturing.

Soon Detroit's greatest hero will be permanently honored in Bronze, watching over the city.
