Kylie Minogue played the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle on Tuesday evening and had this rather wonderful interaction with a fan on stage.

The man, introduced only as Paul, was brought on stage to meet the Australian pop star after holding up a sign asking her to sign his tattoo.

Paul was clearly very happy to meet Kylie.

Upon meeting his hero on stage, he asked her directly: “It’s lovely to meet you. Fancy going for a Chinese later?”

To which she replied: “I would love to as long as you order, whatever you have I’ll have.”

Paul then showed Kylie his tattoo, which according to the Newcastle Chronicle is of Minogue's "Fever" album cover.

He revealed to the pop star he had the ink work done around eight years ago and would get a new tattoo of her signature the following day if she signed it.
