Incredible Images Of Saturn Released By NASA

The Cassini probe captured the stunning pictures.

Nasa has released a series of images of Saturn and its rings.

This image was taken in 2007 by Cassini during a flyby of Saturn’s largest moon Titan when the probe was 1.23million kilometres away.

It was captured using a navigation technique called a “pi transfer”, which uses the gravity of the moon to alter the spacecraft’s orbit so it can gain a different perspective of Saturn.

The image is one of a number recently released.

    The planet looks majestic.

Cassini was sent into space in 1997 and has been orbiting Saturn since 2004.

Nasa has also released a video of what the probe might discover in the coming years.
