1. People always assume you aren't the brightest bulb in the box.

3. And sometimes you do give off the wrong impression.
4. You never really share how much you know because you prefer to keep your knowledge secret.
5. And because of this, people just assume that you don't know anything.
6. When you do say something clever, the reaction is usually utter shock.
7. Followed by something incredibly patronising.
8. Because people always underestimate just how smart you really are.
9. Sometimes you act dumb on purpose, because there are advantages to being secretly clever.
10. Like being able to strike when people least expect it.
11. People never come to you for advice or help.
12. Which can be upsetting sometimes, because you feel like people don't really respect you.
13. And that no one cares about what you have to say.
14. So there's nothing more satisfying than when people realise you actually know what you're talking about.
15. And that in actual fact, you're even smarter than them.
16. It takes people time to realise that despite appearances, you're always on the ball.
17. And that the seemingly stupid shit you say is actually full of wisdom.
18. Only a few people know how clever you really are.
19. But despite what anyone thinks they know, all that matters is what you know, which is...everything.
