I think we just became best friends which means you HAVE to come spend Christmas with me in London. We'll make it boozy and snuggly and cosy AND WE'LL CRUSH MY ENTIRE FAMILY IN THE ANNUAL GAMES. Our chemistry will be so insane, rumours will fly through town. We won't care though, because maybe they're right – maybe we are in love and WE JUST DON'T KNOW IT YET!!?????

You MUST spend Christmas with me

We'd have a merry old time and my family would really like you – even my Grandma who can be a bit of a cow. We'll probably disagree over one thing like what time we open presents, but for you I'll compromise. Now where's the very thoughtful present I know you've got me?

Listen, you sound like A LOT of fun, I mean it. But ya know, I'm getting old now and there's babies around so I can't exactly be going hell for leather on Christmas day. Slow and steady is my motto, and from the looks of things you might end up vomiting on Nan at 3pm, and I already promised her it wouldn't happen again.

Maybe not Christmas but certainly New Year

It seems we're just not aligned when it comes to how we do Christmas – food, schedules, walks –so it's just not meant to be. I was really hopeful about this as well, and now I'll have to endure endless questions about why me and my boyfriend aren't married so cheers for that.
