Top 10 Action Heroes We'd Love To... Get To Know In Real Life

Honouring Liam Neeson’s return as Bryan Mills in Taken 3, we wanted to celebrate all action heroes. Everybody loves a good, classic action film, but who reigns supreme in the action genre? Here are the top 10 action heroes we wish we could know in real life:

10. Iron Man / Tony Stark

Played by Robert Downey Jr., starring in three Iron Man movies as well as The Avengers. Genius billionaire playboy philanthropist? Sign us up!

9. Batman/Bruce Wayne

Ron Phillips

Played by Christian Bale, starring in the Dark Knight trilogy. We hate to name another superhero right away, but come on. It’s Batman. And that voice? To die for!

8. Obi-Wan Kenobi

Played by Ewan McGregor, starring in Star Wars Episodes I, II and III. The ultimate fighter and the possibly the most important protagonist in possibly the most important movie franchise ever. Plus we’ve always wanted to *ahem* try out a lightsaber.

7. John McClane

Played by Bruce Willis in the Die Hard franchise. Exploding cars, chases and ridiculously cool fight scenes? What’s not to love?

6. Jason Bourne

Played by Matt Damon in the original Bourne trilogy. We understand there might be some psychological damage from being experimented on and such, but still. We’d totally hang with Jason any day.

5. Indiana Jones

As embodied by Harrison Ford in the Indiana Jones movies. He goes to the coolest places and pulls off the sickest stunts. We all think adventuring with Indiana Jones is guaranteed to be a good time. He is the perfect companion...

4. Wolverine

Played by Hugh Jackman in the X-Men franchise. Ideally we would want to chill out with the entire X-Men gang, but if we needed to pick one it would obviously be Wolverine (see above). Who else would we choose?

3. Captain Jack Sparrow

Played by Johnny Depp in the Pirates of the Caribbean films. We love the supporting cast too, but when it comes to daring adventure on the high seas, we know Captain Jack is the way to go.

2. Thomas Anderson / Neo

Played by Keanu Reeves in the Matrix trilogy. He’s brilliant, acrobatic and looks cool in a massive coat and sunglasses. Basically no time is a bad time with Neo. Also, Code Jesus?

1. Bryan Mills

Played by Liam Neeson in the Taken trilogy. A "retired" agent who cares so much about his family that he’ll protect them by any means, and show off his ridiculous skill-set while doing it? We’d love to hang out with Bryan!
