This Latino Explained What It's Like To Be A DREAMer In America Right Now

"The fight for DACA and DREAM is a fight for our lives."

If you haven't already heard, The Trump Administration recently announced that they are rescinding DACA.

DACA stands for "Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals." It is a government program that provided temporary protection against deportation and work permits to nearly 800,000 undocumented immigrants who came to the United States as children.

Since this was announced, many have expressed their frustration on Twitter:

One particular user, Juan Escalante, who is an undocumented immigrant, took to Twitter days prior to the announcement to express the fear and emotional turmoil DREAMers are currently (and have been) experiencing:
