The series, produced by America Ferrera, follows the lives of seven people as they they tackle gentrification head-on in the rapidly-changing Los Angeles neighborhood of Boyle Heights.

The trailer gives us a sneak peek at some of the clashes between the Latinx residents and those who threaten their established spaces...

...highlights real-life issues, like rising rent costs...

...gives us a tinge of romance...

...all while inserting its sharp comedic twist.

America Ferrera, who also makes an appearance, said it's "a series that proudly features all Latinos both in front of and behind the camera!"

And the trailer explicitly states that it's not out to perpetuate the harmful Latinx stereotypes Hollywood has gotten much too comfortable with.

The series does not yet have a release date, but in the meantime, let's rejoice in the wonder that is Latinx stories!
