One of my favorite TV and movie genres is book adaptations. I absolutely love seeing my favorite characters come to life onscreen.
However, have you ever loved a book so much and then been disappointed when one of your favorite storylines is simply cut from the adaptation?
Maybe you're still upset that the Harry Potter movies left out Hermione's activism with S.P.E.W.
Perhaps you don't understand why the Game of Thrones TV series left out the Lady Stoneheart storyline.
Maybe you're upset that the Shadowhunters show decided to kill Jocelyn, thus changing her entire plotline from the books.
Heck, perhaps you felt like some of John Ambrose's best moments were completely cut out of the To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You movie — like when Lara Jean and John Ambrose were pen pals or when the treehouse crew played the game of tag.
